Exclusive Trekking
A day spent trekking with our friend Nyoman Alit and his family is a very special experience. They live in a remote village high on the slopes of Batu Karu. This trek takes you through a veritable Garden of Eden as we explore jungle, bamboo forests and rice sawahs. This experience is a rare privilege providing a wonderful insight into a life which is fast disappearing.  A photographer’s dream.

Exclusive Cooking Class
Take a walk through a local village and learn about the Balinese traditions and customs. Then enjoy the hospitality and wisdom of Dewa and Jero as they explain the medicinal benefits of the food that we will prepare together.

Other Local Walks
Our staff can take you on walks through the rice fields and explain the rice growing process, the religious significance of the temples, and the traditional Balinese beliefs and ways of life.

Bali Bird Walk
Sui Made is a local lady with extraordinary knowledge relating to Balinese bird life. On her walks she points out the rice paddy animal and bird life that goes on around us.

Batik Courses
There are two kinds of courses available. One uses natural indigo dyes, the other has you creating batik hangings.
